Our Active Schools team is part of a dedicated national network. Our aim is to improve sporting opportunities for children and young people.
Community Sport
Community Sport provide weekly classes in a range of activities. Our dedicated coaches deliver these for all ages and abilities.

Our team deliver over 200 swimming lessons a week across our three leisure centres. Visit our swimming page for more information.
Our gymnastics classes are for those aged 18 months to 12 years. They run for 40 weeks of the year across our three leisure centres. We also offer gymnastic holiday camps during Easter, summer and October.

Our Active Schools team works closely with schools and community sports clubs in East Dunbartonshire to deliver activities for children with additional support needs (ASN).

Our Athlete Performance Programme (APP) helps young athletes improve their sporting performance. It's open to aspiring athletes aged between 12 and 18 who live in East Dunbartonshire.
